Skip represents clients ranging from celebrities to Fortune 500 companies to governments in litigation. An accomplished trial lawyer, he has tried cases in state and federal courts. His areas of expertise include securities, sports, entertainment, defamation and First Amendment issues, corporate takeovers, and investment banking.
Skip has handled complex real estate litigation for companies such as KB Home, Prudential Financial Inc. and East West Bank. His celebrity clients include Rod Stewart, Elton John, Bob Dylan and Sean Connery. In 2018, Skip was instrumental in securing a nearly $120 million settlement in the case surrounding the October 2015 Aliso Canyon gas leak – the biggest natural-gas leak in U.S. history.
